We’ve been far and wide this summer but one place has stayed with me. We stumbled across Off The Wheel Pottery whilst in Door County. The sun was shining as we wandered into the most fabulous garden surrounding three beautifully restored barns. Renee’s work had a real fairy tale quality to it and she uses a lot of my favourite motif’s like birds, leaves and foliage. I could have bought a lot but settled on this (easy to fit in a suitcase) piece.
Her whole set up was so enviable – the beautiful rural environment, the studio in the garden, the family running around, life and art living side by side…och! maybe more of that one day!
