Putting together a still life is a lot of trial and error. Sometimes I have a strong feeling of what to include. Other times I trawl through the cupboards for forgotten items. Sometimes a magazine spread sparks an idea.
This one came about bit by bit with a strong colour theme linking it together. I often use a camera to check composition before I begin to draw and paint. This set of photos makes a good spot the difference puzzle!
