Art can be a funny old business. Some artists are all about the angst, the deep inner trauma finding it’s place on canvas, the struggle and strife. I’m a different breed. I put together some objects, some fabric and some colour’s and don’t for a minute think that it will say something deep. However, for me this painting says a lot. I never intended it to; I didn’t set out to demonstrate deep thinking and didn’t see it coming. But I guess that’s why art is powerful because it can connect you to yourself without your conscious brain interfering. Oh, and the colours are nice too!
