My Site shop is powered by an e-commerce plugin for WordPress called WooCommerce. WooCommerce is the online e-commerce platform that enables Me to sell My products and services to you.

 

All copyright is retained by Me, the artist, Claire Leggett. Artwork and the content of this website can not be used for commercial purposes by others. 

 

My Site provides the following: an online portfolio to show artwork and enable purchase of original art, and goods, where relevant, from me. You agree that by accessing My Site, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

 

You may not access or use My Site for any purpose other than that for which I make the site and My services available. You may not use My products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). My Site may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavours except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by me.

 

I reserve the right to modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, My Site (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you; you confirm that I shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website.

The content on My Site is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. I am not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. You should consult professional or specialist advice which is more accurate and more complete. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. I reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but I have no obligation to update any information on my site. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to my site. 

 

Every care has been taken to show the artwork as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see may differ due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault, and such inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

 

There may be opportunities for you to post content to My Site or send feedback to Me (User Content). You understand and agree that your User Content may be viewed by other users on My Site, and that they may be able to see who has posted that User Content. If, at My request, you send certain specific submissions (for example contest entries) or without a request from Me you send other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, ‘comments’), you agree that I may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to Me. Sales

I hope you love the shop items that you choose to buy. Each item shown on My Site has been carefully represented to show it as true to life as possible. I have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours, sizes, and images of the products that appear in the Shop. I cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.

 

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at My Shop. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that I can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Should you not be happy with your purchase please contact me within 5 days of its signed-for-arrival date to discuss options. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense and should be handled with care. A proof of postage certificate is recommended as well as reasonable insurance to cover the value of the goods being returned, as goods lost or damaged in transit can not be exchanged. Prices for my products are subject to change without notice.

 

I reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. I shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.If you purchase physical goods from My Site, My Terms of Service will apply to the sales. Where possible, I use an eco-friendly approach to packaging with every order. Any customs fees/charges are the customer’s responsibility. Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by My Privacy Policy.

 

Damages

Please inspect your order on arrival and contact me immediately if the item is damaged so that I can evaluate the issue and find a suitable solution.

 

I reserve the right, but am not obligated, to limit the sales of My Products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. I may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. I reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that I offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of Me. I reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited. I do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

 

Security of Data

I will take all reasonable care, insofar as it is in My power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure. I use a secure external payment process with WooCommerce. In the absence of negligence on my part I cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when ordering from the website.
